Standard Cancellation and Refund Timeline

More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Qualified for: Complete refund less transaction costs

Processing Duration: 5-7 working days

Transaction Fee: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Must be requested formally through email or call

Between 24 to 72 Hours Prior to Charter

50% Refund

Qualified for: Half of the overall charter expense

Processing Duration: 7-10 working days

Transaction Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund

Prerequisites: A valid reason is required; administrative costs incurred

Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Qualified for: No refund option available

Exception: Conditions of emergency may be taken into account

Alternative: Credit for future charters might be offered at the discretion of the management

Stipulations: Supporting documents required for emergency cases

Weather-Dependent Cancellations

Our Weather Promise

We prioritize safety above all. If our certified captain judges the weather conditions to be too dangerous for charter operations, we provide adaptable options:

  • Complete Refund: Full reimbursement if rescheduling is unfeasible
  • Reschedule: Rebook your charter to an alternate date without added costs
  • Charter Credit: Receive a voucher valid for one year from the initial charter date

Weather Evaluation Method

The assessment of weather includes:

  • Examination of wind strength and trajectory
  • Assessment of surf height and oceanic conditions
  • Outlook for visibility and precipitation levels
  • Maritime safety advisories and alerts
  • Captain's safety judgment

Decision Period: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made a maximum of 4 hours before the charter departs.

Medical Urgency Refunds

Urgent Conditions

We acknowledge that medical emergencies can take place. The following events may be eligible for special consideration:

  • Immediate illness or accident necessitating hospital care
  • Passing of an immediate family member
  • Urgent military orders or recalls
  • Summons for jury duty or court proceedings
  • Disasters impacting travel arrangements

Documentary Proof

To engage in an emergency refund request, the following should be provided:

  • Proof of medical condition or hospital records
  • Death certificate when relevant
  • Verified military instructions
  • Legal subpoenas or notices for jury service
  • Travel alerts or declarations of emergencies

Procedure: Emergency reimbursements are executed within a time frame of 3-5 business days upon submission of the appropriate documentation.

Cancellations Due to Operational Reasons

Mechanical Malfunctions

In the event that the assigned boat suffers mechanical issues that remain unresolved:

  • Different Vessel: We will make an effort to provide a similar vessel as an alternative
  • Complete Refund: In the case that a substitute isn't forthcoming
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement yacht has a different rate
  • Compensation: Possible additional recompense for any inconvenience caused

Lack of Crew Availability

On the off chance that a qualified crew is not available:

  • An alternate crew might be arranged if feasible
  • Complete refund should the charter be unable to proceed
  • Rebooking at no extra cost

Repayment Method

Reimbursements will be returned through the same payment method originally used:

  • Credit Cards: Within 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: Within 7-10 working days
  • Cash/Check: Within 3-5 working days

A €50 cost applies to cancellations done beyond 72 hours in advance

Bank Wire Transactions

A €25 charge is applicable for all bank transfer reimbursements

International Transactions

Supplementary costs may be added for foreign operations

Charter Vouchers

Scenarios for Credit Issuance

Charter vouchers may be granted as an alternative to monetary refunds under these situations:

  • Unexpected cancellations (less than 24 hours ahead)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Voluntary date changes
  • Interruptions in service

Credit Details

  • Validity Length: 12 months from the date of issuance
  • Exclusivity: Non-exchangeable to other individuals
  • Value: Equivalent to the full cost of the charter (excluding transaction fees)
  • Applicability: Usable for any available yacht charter
  • Non-Extension: No expansion of the validity period beyond the original 12 months

Partial Reimbursements for Incomplete Services

Interruptions in Service

If your yacht experience is disrupted or shortened due to factors within our jurisdiction:

  • A proportional refund corresponding to the unused segment
  • A voucher for a future yacht activity of identical worth
  • Gratis services or capability upgrades

Interruptions Caused by Guests

In instances where a yacht trip terminates prematurely due to guest behavior or safety infractions:

  • No reimbursement for the unutilized portion
  • The complete fee remains obligatory
  • Additional costs might be levied

Disagreeing With a Refund Decision

In the event that you contest a refund judgment, you may:

  • Invoke a review by our executive team
  • Offer additional proof or documentation
  • Consult consumer advocacy agencies for resolution
  • Resort to legal action as per the law

We will confirm reception of your application within a day, assess it in line with our policy, deliver a verdict within two days, and execute sanctioned refunds following the specified protocols.

Essential Remarks

  • All claims for refunds need to be made in writing
  • Reimbursements are processed in € regardless of the currency used for payment
  • Obtaining travel insurance is highly advised
  • Adjustments to this policy may be made given a notice period of 30 days
  • Refunds are subject to pertinent taxes and legal stipulations
