By reserving a yacht or using our Service, you consent to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any section of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

2. Service Overview

PublicUtilityRegistry offers upscale yacht charter services, including but not limited to:

  • Day-to-day yacht hire
  • Dusk cruises
  • Business getaways
  • Exclusive gatherings
  • Extended charters

Our services are based on availability and prevailing weather conditions. We maintain the right to change or stop services without prior notification.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

To secure a charter, you are required to:

  • Be no less than 18 years old
  • Supply truthful and complete details
  • Remit the required upfront payment as detailed in your booking confirmation
  • Commit to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Confirmation of your booking occurs only after payment has been made and we provide written confirmation. Service may be denied to any individual at our sole discretion.

3.3 Availability

All charters are dependent on the availability of the vessel and suitable weather conditions. We strive to fulfill your preferred dates and timings.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

Prices are quoted in € and cover all relevant taxes unless indicated otherwise. Prices are subject to modifications without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the full charter cost is to be paid upon booking
  • Balance: The remaining amount is payable 48 hours before the charter starts
  • Additional charges (when applicable): To be paid after the charter concludes

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks. All payments are processed through secure, encrypted platforms.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • Over 72 hours before departure: Entire payment refunded, excluding processing fees
  • Between 24 to 72 hours before departure: 50% of the payment refunded
  • Within 24 hours of departure: No refund available

5.2 Weather Cancellations

In the event that weather conditions are considered unsafe by our captain, we will propose to:

  • Reschedule the charter to an alternative date without additional fees
  • Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

Should there be mechanical issues with the assigned yacht, we will make an effort to supply a comparable replacement. If this is not possible, a complete refund will be given.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All guests must:

  • Heed all directions given by the crew
  • Utilize safety gear as instructed
  • Declare any health conditions that could impact their safety
  • Stay within the designated areas of the yacht

6.2 Prohibited Items

It is forbidden to bring the following on board:

  • Glass bottles
  • Illegal substances
  • Guns or any weapons
  • Excessively indulgent drinks (beyond moderate consumption)
  • Pets (without prior approval)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers should act in a manner that is respectful at all times. We hold the authority to cease a charter prematurely without a refund if a guest's conduct endangers safety or impinges upon the experience of others.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

We limit our liability to the payment made for your charter. We reject responsibility for:

  • Personal injuries stemming from guest negligence
  • Lost or damaged personal belongings
  • Indirect or punitive damages
  • Delays due to weather or situations outside of our influence

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Comprehensive marine insurance is in place covering our yachts and activities. Charterers are accountable for obtaining their travel and personal insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

By participating in our yacht charters, you accept that maritime activities carry inherent dangers and you assume the responsibility for your own security and welfare.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

Schedule, routes, or itineraries can be altered in response to weather, safety reasons, or operational demands. We will do our best to offer a similar alternative experience.

9. Force Majeure

We are not accountable for postponements, cancellations, or changes brought about by forces outside our control, which include but are not limited to:

  • Extreme weather patterns
  • Natural calamities
  • Regulatory orders
  • Port shutdowns
  • Yacht malfunctions

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your private data is managed in line with our Privacy Policy. Your use of our services indicates agreement to our handling and usage of your details as laid out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

The materials on our website, such as texts, graphics, and logos, are covered by copyright and trademark laws. Reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative content is not allowed without express, written consent from us.

12. Governing Law

The laws in force in France regulate these Terms. Any conflicts will be solved in courts located within Sète, France.

13. Changes to Terms
